I read an article "Over 10 years, 125 babies placed in drop box in Kumamoto“
THE ASAHI SHIMBUN, May 7, 2017 at 18:45 JST. The article said that the number of babies who dropped the box named Konotori no Yurikago reached 125. The box is for babies and mothers who can’t grow. Many infant’s mothers come the hospital installed the box from Hokkaido to Kyusyu, and the reason why mothers drop their babies to the box is various, for example, poverty and being a single parent. I think this box is good system because some mothers need help seriously, and the system reduce child abuse.

weekly journal 1 :　The Japan Times ST: April 28, 2017

I read an article "The Japan Times ST", April 28. About 　 one years before, a big earth quake occured in Kumamoto. 225 people was killed by the earth quakes and more than 47,000 people cannot live their house. I was surprised that so many people still in temporary housing.   In addition, 119,000 people also in temporary housing in Tohoku because of the Great East Japan Earthquake. After earthquakes TV news report that every day, but as the wears go by, as we hardly concern about a present state of disaster-stricken area. I think that it is important to continue to learn the situation and support.

weekly jounal 5: The bad train "Saikyo line"

Today, I will talk about Saikyo line. I go to University by Saikyo train and Tokyutoyoko line. Saikyo line runs from Kawagoe staition in Saitama to Osaki station in Tokyo. I think Saikyo line has many problems. First, many groper in Saikyo line. The number of groper in Saikyo line in 2004 is 2201, and the number is the biggest in Japan in 2004. Saikyo line took measures for this problems. They introduce women-only carriages and security cameras. However, in 2014, 2000 gropper was still in Saikyo line. Second, the last train is too early. The last train of Saikyo line leaves 23:55 at Shinjuku station in spite of that the last train of any other line is 00:00~00:40. Finally, many delay of train happen in Saikyo line. It is the most serious problem for me. For example, from April 22 to May 21, the train delay happened 24 times. Therefore, I recommend you that you should not live near Saikyo line.
